“We switched over to Guardian Angel’s Caregivers Home Care from another agency last spring and have been impressed. Our mother has had consistency with her personal caregiver. Guardian Angels follows through with the daily routine of breakfast, laundry, dishes, etc. and communicates with us about mom’s status and needs. But more than that, our caregiver cares about our mom. She goes the extra mile and has taken the initiative to identify tasks/activities that are difficult for our mom and then compensate for it. For example, she organizes the activity bulletins so mom can easily read them, reminds mom to attend the activities she picked out for the day, and set reminders on Alexa for recurring events. If mom needs anything or does not seem to be feeling well, she reaches out right away.
However, one of the most important qualities that Guardian Angel’s provides to our mom is respect. She manages to provide both the role of caregiver and companion/friend. Mom truly likes her caregiver and enjoys spending time with her and we, as a family, can relax knowing mom is in good hands.
